Wednesday Members Play

All members are welcome to tee it up on Wednesday mornings for golf fellowship and friendly competition. Advance sign-ups are appreciated, but not mandatory. Typically, a format is determined that day and players make a small contribution to the day’s prize fund. Players form foursomes and get underway. Results and winners are posted at the conclusion of play. Lots of fun beginning at 8:00 AM in the warmer months and at 9:00 AM when the temps cool down.

Ladies Day Golf

As members of the Hawk’s Landing Players’ Association, ladies are welcome and encouraged to participate in all of the member events and tournaments. In addition, Ladies Day tee times are scheduled as follows:
~ April through September  - Thursdays at 7:30 am 
~ October through March  - Thursdays at 2:30 pm 
Alternative formats and prizes may be arranged from time to time, but the typical Ladies Day play means show up, sign up, join a foursome, play golf together, and have lunch or dinner at the Roost Café together. .

Monthly Member Tournaments

The HLPA holds member tournaments on the second Saturday of each month. Advance sign-ups are required. Formats and prizes vary from month to month – check for details on the website and in the Hawk’s Landing Pro Shop. Saturday events generally start at 9:00 AM in the cool months and at 8:00 AM as we get into the warmer weather. Note: Saturday event start times are occasionally adjusted to accommodate fundraisers and other Hawk’s Landing events, but players are informed well in advance.

Annual Events

The Hawk’s Landing Players’ Association currently schedules three major Member events during the year: The President’s Cup (match play championship) in April, the Member/Guest Golf Tournament in the Summer, and the annual (two day) Club Championship tournament in September. Other events may be initiated by the Tournament Committee from time to time. Watch for flyers and registration details.

Occasionally and at our discretion, we will post information on this site about some non-HLPA events as a courtesy to members who are looking for more involvement and/or competition. These events include the fundraising tournaments hosted by local non-profit organizations, the annual Pioneer Pass Golf Challenge and the WJB Classic commemorating the founders of Hawk’s Landing Golf Club.
